With the recently political unrest in the region resulting in many foreign companies leaving the area, ZOD Security SARL has decided to expand it's business and has formed ZOD International SAL (Offshore) which aims to capitalize on the experience ZOD Security has gathered throughout its experience in this field since 1977 in order to offer foreign companies the possibility of a Middle East, Africa & Gulf representation and the availability of a regional office and to cater to projects outside the territory of Lebanon.

The purpose of ZOD International would be to:

• Find adequate sole distributors for products in said countries
• Set up a contract for minimum sales and other such conditions concerning the respective rights of the parties
• Provide training in Lebanon or in the target country and coordinate marketing efforts by providing brochures, conferences and exhibitions
• Guarantee payments and terms of payments
• Act as a liaison between the distributor and the manufacturer by way of reports about competition, market size and quality of products in the target markets

• Experience in Security and Safety business since 1977
• Trilingual: Arabic, English and French
• ZOD Security is ISO 9001:2000 certified by BSI (British Standards Institute)
• Availability of a Training Center for up to 30 trainees
• Beirut is still the preferred pleasure destination for Arab and African nationals
• President and Managing Director: Captain Sami G. Zod with a successful career in the Lebanese Internal Security Forces that spanned more than thirteen years and training with the FBI National Academy and the Department of US Treasury
• Employs more than forty employees, twenty of whom are highly qualified technicians and engineers proficient in security and electronics

In August 2004, ZOD International SAL (Offshore) was registered in the Beirut commercial register under no. 1800693 with registered offices within the premises of ZOD Security SARL.
